Horse Drawn Plowing in Santa Rosa Wednesday

I’m posting this because Stewart used to work with us @ PCI and I think it’s just a really cool thing He’s doing.

Dear LandPaths Participants and Roseland Community Members,

Join us for Plowing, Planting and Popcorn at Bayer Farm

Come see the Draft Horses from Stone Horse Farm plow the back field at Bayer Farm!!

Simply come and watch OR join us in planting cover crops behind the Team

Wednesday, November 19 ~ 1-4pm  Free

A rare opportunity to watch and even help out as local draft horses till the soil at Bayer Farm.

Sew winter crop seeds after the horses have tilled. Cover crops of beans and clover nourish and loosen soil over the winter months.

Enjoy fresh popcorn and refreshments, and tour the garden.

Bayer Farm is a unique project between the City of Santa Rosa and LandPaths that provides access to the outdoors to the community of Roseland, neighboring schools and greater Sonoma County . The farm includes a community garden with healthy organic produce available to this urban community.  We hope you can join us!
